Percussion Ensemble

All percussionists are required to participate in the percussion ensemble class. This class gives percussion students a chance to develop their technique and play percussion only literature. In the first trimester, this class also works on pep band music . All percussionists are required to do an ensemble piece at region competition.

REQUIRED MATERIALS

*Bold is required, non- bold is highly recommended*

Stick bag, snare drum sticks, hard plastic or rubber mallets, yarn mallets, timpani mallets, practice pad and bell kit
Black binder (1”), sheet protectors, and two pencils. It is recommended the student use different binders for different ensembles.
Black Towel
All required music and fundamental book. If lost, it can be re-printed for a $5 fee.
Tuner-Metronome (can be tonal energy app on smartphone)
